Swine Flu Preparation Gets Serious

Health authorities in the United States and around the world are ramping up to wage an absolute war on the swine flu in the fall. While some are wondering why such massive preparations are needed for a disease that has only killed a few hundred people, others are wondering if government authorities know more than they are telling us.

As the WHO and the CDC continue to make stunning proclamations about the seriousness of the swine flu, the U.S. government is pulling out all the stops in order to get prepared. According to the Department of Defense, even the U.S. military plans to "assist" civilian authorities in the event of a significant outbreak of the H1N1 swine flu virus this fall.

Just how does the U.S. military plan to "assist" civilian authorities? Will they be involved with vaccinations? After all, the World Health Organization is recommending mandatory swine flu vaccinations be administered in almost 200 different countries.

And it looks like a swine flu vaccine will be available in the fall - tested or not.

Vaccine manufacturers apparently plan to rely on a U.S. emergency declaration to use experimental additives made by GlaxoSmithKline and Novartis in their swine flu vaccines that many health experts are describing as potentially very dangerous.

But governments around the world seem to be ignoring any potential danger to rushing a vaccine out. In fact, the U.S. government is looking for several thousand volunteers to start rolling up their sleeves for the first swine flu shot trials.

And in a misguided effort to vaccinate as many people as possible before the winter begins, many European governments are saying that they will "fast-track" the testing of a swine flu vaccine.

But is rushing an experimental vaccine out to the public wise?

The reality is that vaccines are not nearly as safe as they are portrayed to be.

And the Washington Post has confirmed that the swine flu vaccine WILL contain mercury.

It is being recommended that kids get FOUR flu shots this fall. Are you certain that it is healthy for your kids to be shot full of mercury? If not, perhaps you should do some serious research.

In any event, health authorities around the world are clearly extremely concerned about this swine flu pandemic.

According to new estimates from the CDC, hundreds of thousands of Americans could die from the H1N1 swine flu over the next 2 years.

The World Health Organization is saying that the H1N1 pandemic is gaining speed. In fact, the WHO is estimating that 2 billion people will get the "swine flu" over the next 2 years.

That is approximately one-third of the people on earth.

Wow!

Some cities are taking their preparations to bizarre extremes.

For example, the Exeter City Council says that it is actually considering using the catacombs under the city to store the corpses of deceased swine flu victims if the pandemic worsens.

Now, are there rational things that the average person can do to prepare for this fall and winter?

Yes.

Some health experts are now claiming that Vitamin D is a "major weapon" against the swine flu. In fact, if you do some research there are a number of things you can do to boost your immune system, and there are a number of natural ways to fight the swine flu if you do end up catching it.

But perhaps the biggest danger is what will happen if this virus seriously mutates. For example, scientists are now starting to wonder what will happen when the H1N1 flu encounters the H5N1 flu.

Will it create a super flu?

Will it create a flu that is easily transmissible like H1N1 but that is super deadly like H5N1?

Nobody actually knows.

Tax And Socialize: Barack Obama's Health Care Nightmare

In the U.S. Senate today, the health committee voted 13-10 along party lines to advance a horrific "tax and socialize" health care bill. Not only would this bill give the U.S. government unprecedented control over a socialized health care system, but it would also be one of the largest tax increases in American history.

It has been said that Democrats can't wait to get their hands into your pockets in order to take your money, but it usually turns out that whatever money they are able to grab from the American people, the reality is that they end up wanting to spend even more than that.

In fact, a preliminary analysis from the Congressional Budget Office reveals that the version of the "tax and socialize" health care bill being pushed in the House of Representatives would cause federal deficits to go through the roof.

The CBO report estimates that the 10 year increase in federal deficits from the health care bill would be just over 1 trillion dollars:

"On a preliminary basis ... the proposal's provisions affecting health insurance coverage would result in a net increase in federal deficits of $1,042 billion for fiscal years 2010 through 2019."

Not only would it send federal deficits soaring, but the "tax and socialize" plan being pushed by Democrats also has these wonderful features:

*It would REQUIRE all Americans to buy health insurance. Americans who refuse to buy health insurance will be hit with heavy fines of more than $1,000. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that these draconian fines will raise around 36 billion dollars over 10 years.

*It would create a government-run insurance program to compete with private health insurance.

*It would implement a 5.4 percent tax increase on individuals making more than $1 million a year, with a gradual tax beginning at $280,000 for individuals.

Republican Representative Roy Blunt from Missouri summed it up when he said this about the bill: "What we really have here is a bill that, without any question, will kill jobs, will limit access to health care, will raise taxes and will lead to a government takeover of health care."

When many Americans hear the words "health care reform" they seem to think that they will be getting free health care.

But that is not the case at all.

Instead, it is going to mean that they are forced to buy health insurance, it is going to mean that the U.S. government will control their health decisions and it is even going to mean that the U.S. government is going to decide who lives and who dies.

Health care run by the government also means mandatory vaccinations. The CDC is now saying that the U.S. may need 600 million doses of swine flu vaccine in order to vaccinate every man, woman and child in the United States this fall.

In the future, if your national health record shows that you have not taken the mandatory vaccines, then you will not be able to get any more health care until you do.

But there are even more frightening health care changes that the Congress passed earlier this year.

The truth is that the Democrats inserted provisions into one of the economic "stimulus" bills that gave the federal government COMPLETE control over your health care under a nationalized health care plan.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, otherwise known as "the economic stimulus bill" contained almost all of the key elements of Tom Daschle's ideal nationalized health care system that he outlined in his 2008 book, Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.

In his book, Daschle wrote that doctors will have to “learn to operate less like solo practitioners” and be willing to accept mandatory government controls and guidelines.

And guess what?

That is precisely what that bill now forces doctors to do.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 created a brand new bureaucracy called the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology. This new government organization will monitor all medical treatments to make sure that your doctor is prescribing the exact drugs and medical treatments that the U.S. government believes are "appropriate" and "cost effective".

So much for medical freedom, eh?

The bill also radically changed the way that the health care system treats the elderly.

Currently, Medicare pays for medical treatments for the elderly that are considered to be safe and effective.

But that has all changed.

Now, a cost effectiveness standard set by a Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research will apply.

So now if the U.S. government officials decide that it isn't cost effective for your mother to get cancer treatment she will be out of luck.

In her recent editorial, Betsy McCaughey described Daschle's attitude towards the elderly in his book:

He praises Europeans for being more willing to accept “hopeless diagnoses” and “forgo experimental treatments,” and he chastises Americans for expecting too much from the health-care system.

She also goes on to describe how this new "council" would actually make choices to deny health care to elderly patients if they don't have enough "productive" years left:

The Federal Council is modeled after a U.K. board discussed in Daschle’s book. This board approves or rejects treatments using a formula that divides the cost of the treatment by the number of years the patient is likely to benefit. Treatments for younger patients are more often approved than treatments for diseases that affect the elderly, such as osteoporosis.

Do you understand what that means?

It means that now the United States government decides who lives and who dies.

But most Americans seem tickled pink that they are about to get the "free health care" that Obama supposedly promised them. Instead, they are going to find out that they are going to be forced to pay for mandatory health care, that their health care decisions are now totally controlled by the federal government and that many of them have just been hit with crushing tax increases in order to pay for it all.

The Pope Calls For World Government With Real Teeth

In his brand new encyclical entitled Caritas in Veritate, or Charity in Truth, Pope Benedict is openly calling for a "true world political authority" with "real teeth". At a time when many prominent world leaders are publicly calling for a "New World Order", to have the Roman pontiff openly declare that we all need a world government is more than a little alarming.

The 144 page encyclical is the result of a 2 year effort by Pope Benedict to bring Catholic social teaching up to date on issues such as economic development, terrorism, sex tourism, population issues, bioethics and the environment.

In calling for more globalization and a true world government, the Pope chose words that were very direct and to the point:

"There is a strongly felt need... for a reform of the United Nations Organisation, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth... there is urgent need of a true world political authority."

Real teeth?

What would a world government with "real teeth" look like anyway?

Apparently the Pope feels that the job of such a world political authority would be "to manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result."

To manage the global economy?

A one world economic system?

Seriously he can't be serious.

But he is.

Not only is he advocating a one world economic system, but he is advocating a very socialist one. In the encyclical, the Pope wrote that a one world economic system would "open up the unprecedented possibility of large-scale redistribution of wealth on a world-wide scale".

A redistribution of wealth?

Since when did the Pope become a socialist?

When the Pope puts out an encyclical that openly calls for a one world government and a one world economic system, it just shows all of us how late in the game things really are.

The truth is that those of us who study Bible prophecy also know that a one world religion is coming in the last days, and that the Roman Catholic organization will be very involved in that.

A one world government, a one world economic system and a one world religion will be three of the key pillars of the future kingdom of the antichrist. While we are still quite a way from any of that becoming a reality, the truth is that it is quite chilling for the Pope to be calling for a one world government. Let us hope that we still have a significant amount of time before it becomes a reality.
