A Reader Fulfills Bible Prophecy (But Not In A Good Way)

In response to our article entitled, "Sarah Palin Believes That Jesus Is Coming Back In Her Lifetime", a reader named John left the following comment:

"Hahahaha, this is great! Can't wait for Jesus to come back because Revelations says so!"

John may not realize this, but by mocking the return of Christ he is actually fulfilling Bible prophecy. In 2 Peter 3:3-4 it says this.....

First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."

So when John mocks the return of Christ he has helped to fulfill the prophecy of the apostle Peter.

But hopefully John will realize the error of his ways and will turn to the Lord Jesus Christ while he still has time.

The truth is that without Jesus, none of us has any hope:

  1. This world, and the United States in particular, is on a collision course with disaster, and things are getting worse and worse almost by the month. It is reaching a point that there will be little hope for humanity without the coming return of Christ.

How ironic it may be when some of those who are scoffing and putting their hopes in human reason will probably end up, before Christ returns, hoping that they were wrong and that God really does save humanity from itself.

  2. We just thank God that His mercy is beyond what we can imagine or understand! John may be fulfilling the prophecy, but as long as he lives, he needs to realize that there's still hope for him. All he needs to do is just look at the story of the thief on the cross. The bible is not hesitant to call him a thief, neither does he deny the fact that his hanging on the cross is due to his own actions of which he deserves (Luke 23:39-43). The thief probably did a lot of terrible things, but at his last moment, his heart was converted. And because of that last moment in his life, his whole destiny was changed. So for John.... your mocking is not enough for Christ to stop loving you. And trust me.... Jesus is real and alive! Maybe you can give Him a trial and error and see for yourself! You will be greatly amazed to discover what you could discover!

  3. He also seems to think that people being tortured and killed for not taking the chip {mark} is pretty hilarious too. I pray for those who are blinded by sin and do not believe but I praise you eternally {and I will!} that I believe.
