America The Perverted: 90,000 Sex Offenders Removed From MySpace

MySpace representatives and law enforcement officials say that approximately 90,000 sex offenders have been identified and removed from MySpace.

That is a lot of sex offenders.

I didn't even know that there were that many sex offenders in the United States.

So I looked around and found out that there are actually about 400,000 registered sex offenders in the United States.

Almost half a million REGISTERED sex offenders.

How many more have not been identified or caught yet?

Once upon a time you could let your kids play out in the streets without a worry in the world.

Not anymore.

When I was young my mother would let my brother and I explore the surrounding neighborhoods for hours without any kind of supervision.

You would have to be a psycho parent to do that now.

The world has changed.

Just check out these statistics from the national alert registry.....

*Convicted rapists report that two-thirds of their victims were under 18 and 58% of those said their victims were age 12 or under.

*In 90% of the rapes of children under 12 years old, the offender knew the victim.

*8 out of 10 rapists are released prior to trial.

*The median age of victims of imprisoned sex offenders was 13 years old.

We now have a society that is FULL of sickos who want to have sex with children.

Did you know that one in five U.S. teenagers who regularly log on to the internet say they have received an unwanted sexual solicitation via the internet?

You can actually see a map of the registered sex offenders in your area by going here:

http://www.familywatchdog.us/

When I put in my own address, it came up with dozens and dozens of registered sex offenders in my local area.

That is a comforting thought, isn't it?

And they will come after your children if they can just get the chance.

Or have you not seen the "To Catch A Predator" series on Dateline NBC?

They never had a problem luring an endless parade of men who wanted to come over and have sex with an underage girl.

So how did this happen to America?

The truth is that this nation has rejected God.

Even pastors and priests have been convicted of sexually assaulting children!

In Matthew 24:12, Jesus told us this about the last days: "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold".

America is now a wicked nation, and that is coming out in a thousand different ways.

It is easy to judge others, but the reality is that the ONLY escape from sin that any of us has is through Jesus Christ.

No matter what you have done, and we have all sinned, you can find forgiveness. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins, and if you will repent of your sins and invite Him to come into your life you can become a Christian and have eternal life:

  1. This world is only getting worse by the second. And I guess it's true what Christ said, that if these times were not going to be shortened, no human being would be saved! We are truelly living in the final hour and we need to pray now more than ever for God's ultimate deliverance.

  2. If I may be so bold. 1) Sexual predators are nothing new. America finally started reporting on it relatively recently. Many have been family members. 2) Many of those convicted were framed because they failed to pay the parents blackmail ransoms. I know of some who have experienced this kind of false persecution. The judge would rather be safe than sorry (Rightfully so), and the accused cannot prove that they never fondled the child. Therefore guilty until "PROVEN" innocent.

  4. This article is a joke. Apparently the author didn't know that out of 90,000 offenders found, only 240 or so offenders were contacting kids or otherwise doing something suspicious. DUHH!!!
Oh gee, 90,000 sex offenders found on Myspace... therefore, THAT HAS TO MEAN that they are all causing trouble. Stupid ignorant people. The author clearly has issues and does not have a clue about this subject. Anyone that religious has a problem with letting others influence them if it supports their beliefs and in this case, stereotypes. Learn to think for yourself and stop watching TV. It's bad for you and misleads you. If I reported every hurricane that happens in the world 24/7... you would think we are having an epidemic of storms suddenly... meanwhile it's really the same amount as usual. Think about it, if you can.
